Vampire Stories recommendations

Vampire Stories

Among my few hobbies include reading, in general I like reading everything, but I must confess that vampire stories fascinate me, that passion arises in my at 12 years old when I read "Interview With the Vampire" by Anne Rice's wonderful and so I read "Lest the Vampire", "The Queen of the Damned" and now I read "barked No bodies "and unfortunately I have not found the books I have yet to read q for the saga of this author, called "The Vampire Chronicles" that are truly exceptional, I have concluded that if there would be vampires as described by Anne Rice.

Because in the last 10 years I got a reputation as a lover of vampire stories my friends and family give me books based on this issue and that's how I met other sagas, here are a small view of these, so that encourage reading at all.

"The Southern Vampire" by Charlaine Harris, this saga tells of a society where vampires are "legal" is that everyone knows of its existence, est
or creates problems because the vampires are killed, because his blood on the black market are selling well, it is said that drinking the blood of a vampire offers many benefits ... good read it is pretty good at least until d onde 'm reading is the third book, "Dead to the world."

"The vam
Piro of Morganville by Rachel Caine, imagine that there is a village onde d vampires and humans "coexist," is this good Morganville puebo it where there are contracts between families and vampires, humans would donate their blood to the vampires and they say not attack other vampires, this really will coexist? descúbranlo reading the saga of "The Morganville Vampires."

"Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer , well the saga is over q known, I think you have two good books Twilight and Eclipse, the other two are much ado about nothing, I love this series, but read it not know if they like to have read the q.

"The Vampire Chronicles" by LJ Smith, not bad this saga, at least the protagonist is not completely useless, but still I love to give you an idea as it rose "Twilight."

"Dark Hunters" by Sherrilyn Kenyon, the series gives a different approach to the origin of vampires I could only read the first book, but WOW! This is an exceptional history writer will become one of my favorites like Anne Rice. The books are different stories, as well as those of Anne Rice maybe that's why I like both.

Well these are sagas I've read and would like to add to these sagas recently by a book that gave me "Vampire Stories" by Nancy Kilpatrick, this writer is unusual in this genre the truth is that I only found good reviews on their work, I just read this book about it but certainly look for more and tell them that this, and now no more hope you enjoy these books as much as me.

Can One Naturally Get Rid Of Gallbladder Poyps

The sweet sound of her voice revealed!

The sweet sound of her voice revealed!

In this first post I want to talk about the biggest inspiration in my life, this event twelve years under my life, because after having heard the description of this scene opera the voice of my dad, as we listened to the recording on CD so shocked I was shocked that I decided to become professional opera singer and one day sing this opera with my father as a spectator, the Opera which I refer is " Lucia di Lammermoor" and his famous scene madness.

Lucia di Lammermoor is composed by the musician Gaetano Donizetti, the argument comes from a novel by Walter Scoot (1771 - 1832) entitled " The Bride of Lammermoor ", inspired in turn, distantly, in fact.

The opera takes place in Scotland in the late sixteenth century, at a time of political and religious crisis, supporters of King James VI, Reformed, oppose his mother, the Catholic Mary Stuart.

The characters are:

HENRY ASHTON            Señor del castillo de Lammermoor

LUCÍA                                              previous Sister ;

EDGARDO ; Lord of Ravenswood Castle.

ARTURO of Bucklaw ; Noble pretendiente Lucía ;

RAIMUNDO ; ; Capellán del Castillo

Alisa ; ;       Acompañante de Lucía

NORMANNO                                Chief castle guard ;

The story of this opera is based on two families in conflict, "Ashton" and "Ravenswood" main reasons for this conflict are two

  • The political conflict, Ashton have appropriated the property of Ravenswood as these had been ruined during the civil war (1570 -1573) as being committed to the losing cause, that of Stuart
  • personal and religious conflict, Enrico Ashton has tried to ban the burial ceremony of Lord Ravenswood ( Edgardo's father) as the rite of the Church of Scotland.

But Enrico Ashton is also ruined and goes through a delicate political situation in which only finds an outlet: the wedding of his sister Lucia to someone that can save his family ...

The ruined Lord Enrico Ashton, angered by opposition from his sister to marry Lord Arturo Bucklaw, learns that Lucia is in secret with his great enemy, Edgardo di Ravenswood.

During one of his secret meetings Edgardo Lucia tells must leave for France immediately. But first, the two young men swear eternal love and fidelity before God and exchanged rings to seal their commitment.

Enrico
to learn that Edgardo has gone to Paris, decided to take this opportunity to deceive his sister Lucia interfering with the delivery of letters both sent and thus make doubt his love, and to finish the matter Enrico shows her sister a false proof of the infidelity of Edgardo, Lucia believes to have been betrayed, undergoes to the will of his brother and sign the marriage contract with Lord Arturo and just when it appears just Edgardo, who accuses her of infidelity, curses and stormed out the ceremony and between whispers about what it's shameless Lucia the wedding party continued and only stopped short by the tragic news that exposes
Raimondo: Lucia has lost razóny has murdered her husband.

girl appears with a bloodied wedding dress while delirious imagining your wedding ceremony with her lover Edgardo and then altered by the memory of the curse of it, falls senseless and die of madness and pain.

Edgardo's death still unknown Lucia, Raimondo confirmed soon the people of Lammermoor. Before the funeral, horrified by the events, Edgardo stabs himself and dies thinking Lucia.

This is a short synopsis of the opera, the scene where Lucia raves and fantasizes about marrying Edgar, best known as the scene of madness, is the scene that my father he described as the most impressive ever witnessed in an opera, words and expressions so impressed me that when I said at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City I have the authority to sing opera, became one of my biggest dreams and aspirations of someday playing the Lucia in this opera, but my father just might be my audience from the sky.

I leave the videos for "The scene of madness "I hope that wish to see them, the singer is Natalie Dessay and my taste is the best interpretation of Lucia I have witnessed, at least on video.
